Hello there! People call me Scott, Scotcho, or sometimes just W.
I’m a rehabilitating poet, a marketer, and a writer of middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction. A poem of mine was published as a centerfold in the Alabama review, and I have penned numerous books as a merc author, including The Curse of the Wendigo, The Mosquito King, The Alabaster Ring, Grotesque, The 13th Floor and others. While I’m an avid outdoorsman, chronic movie buff, nerdy sci-fi and fantasy reader, and a joyful comic book nerd, my real jam is writing stories that bend the fabric of reality, turn tropes on their heads, and hopefully offer something different than this world can offer. I live in Chaska, Minnesota with my lovely wife, and miss my two daughters who live abroad. But I have a deaf husky named Rocket at home, and he is quite the handful.
Below, is just a grab bag of the last year, from Valentine’s dinner with my wife, our crazy dog, a trip to NYC, Benny from Central Park, cocktails, pizza, and my overzealous fandom of The Office.
